I met some friends here to watch the Mexico v Brazil game. It was a great place to watch. Our waitress didn't speak English but we worked it out. Prices are great. Definitely authentic Mexican cuisine.
MoreThe place and the food are as authentic as mexican food comes. Especially on the weekends when they have the grill and they make the tacos outside
MoreI did not like this place at all... our waitress took our order and it appeared she ended her shift and left. We got our food almost an hour later, mind you i had order appetizers as well, but they came last. I was hoping the food would atleast taste good, but i was dead wrong. My food was cold, my wife's food had barely any meat. I will not be going back, and i will not suggest this place to anyone.
MoreVery disappointed after waiting for a long time the food looks horrible, beans we’re so bad almost need it a straw to eat them
MoreThe service was great, the food was ok, the serving was way too little for the price.
MoreAuthentic Mexican restaurant. I loved everything about this restaurant. Delicious food, tasteful mural paintings, friendly server girl and cozy environment.Eveything was home made by a lady who was cooKing in the Kitchen all by herself. Her food was very well prepared and presented. She reminded me of home.
MoreThe best tacos I have ever tasted. The portions were a bit small but I didn’t care. Gave a four star rating because I waited 40 minutes for the tacos. If you don’t want to wait that long I suggest going Friday-Sunday after 7pm because they open a cart outside just for tacos! My only regret is not getting more tacos!
MoreFound a big bug in our green sauce.. good thing we looked at our food before we took a bite🤨. Service was horrible, no guac and then the bug. 😡
MoreTacos went up a dollar in price. Thank you covid 19!!
Don’t let the outside facade of the restaurant fool you, this is a place where the food is worth the wait time. Relatively large place with a few tables inside and some tables outside as well as a small stage area where I think they play live music on the week ends. Prices are very affordable and the portions of food are big. Make sure you try their Tacos, the Chorizo, Al Pastor and Barbacoa are great. They also have Pupusas and they sure taste good. They also have a variety of Domestic and International beers plus “Aguas Frescas”.
MoreGreat menudo and friendly staff.
Food is delicious. Reason why I'm rating this place three stars is because we had to wait a long time for our food.
MoreSlow service and veryyyyy expensive for what you eat...tacos are small and almost empty...I paid almost 14$ and still hungry,
MoreThis place delivers on its promise. Delicious, affordable tacos. Some of the best in Miami in fact. Try the carnitas!
MoreGoing there on weekends is a must the cart outside is the best and the food taste very good , the restaurant inside is no good , dining In is not the experience you want so avoid it justGo on weekends to the cart and make the line it’s better than playing roulette with ur order , last time I went to take a friend toTry the amazing tacos and remembered why I stopped dining in , the meatWASNT meat it was very wellSeason fat and as expensive as the tacos are I would think they would cut out the fat and give u mostly meatBut all the tacos were 90% fat and a few days before that I made a pick up order and 2 of my tacos weren’t even in the order , so Save urself the hassle go on weekends to the cart women then it’s a great experience inside dining 2/10
MoreAfter much deliberation I decided to give this place a second chance. Bad mistake. We got charged way too much for what we ate. The carne asada was too salty. I have never been to China but I have eaten Chinese food just about everywhere I have been and I have liked about all places. I have also never been to Italy but I love Italian food. I was raised just north of the U.S.-Mexican border and have been to Mexico plenty of times. The food at this restaurant is not Mexican. Also I got charged over twenty dollars more from what I calculated. I do not recommend this place to anybody.
MoreGreat service and delicious tacos! I'll definitely be back. Got 4 tacos and when I finished those I had to have 2 more!
MoreThis place is great. Especially Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights when they serve delicious fresh tacos outside the restaurant. The corn on the cob juicy and hot. The service from the cook's is friendly and inviting. They are open late night, so it's perfect for after the club or bar.
MoreThe real deal street food at its best may he rest in peace Anthony Bordain would be proud
MoreThis place was amazing went on a Saturday night after some horse races they were packed but had enough room to get us a table there was an awesome mariachi singer there who really brought the place alive and on top of that the food and drinks were absolutely amazing
MoreDon't get the mix fajitas, they put cilantro in it, they're freacking sweet, taste like Chinese food. Drink was not even cold, only 3 small tortillas you get. I was very disappointed I will never go back to that place again EVER!!!
MoreGreat maxican place to eat. I just think is a little expecive comparing to other Mexican restaurants. Service was great. Food 🍲 was delicious 😋. And I love the envirement.
MoreBest tacos in the area, fri Saturday sunday taco stand 👍
Its ok good tacos
$2:50/ tacos, too small but good flavor....
Amazing local traditional Mexican restaurant with an awesome shop in the back so you can stock up on spices and cookware so you can do it at home. Called my abuelita and she made me buy 3 dona Maria mole. New favorite spot must eat here!!!!!
MoreI don't know why the service was so slow and unfriendly. They did not sanitize our table or our chairs or put paper down like they did for other customers. Overpriced nasty food!
MoreNot how it was years ago. Burrito was not rolled tight at all. Fell apart as I was eating it and made a big mess. Charged $3 extra for a small serving of sour cream and cheese. Only thing I actually tasted in the burrito was the million bits of onion and sour cream. So I basically had a sour cream and onion burrito. Most people who work here don't know much English so don't try to special order anything. The chicken tacos were overpriced. I was charged $3 extra for flour tortilla. The chicken was dry and bland. I went on a weekday. I don't think they put much effort in making good food. And I never got a half rolled burrito from a Mexican restaurant ever. I will not be going back again.
MoreWe’ve been searching for an authentic Mexican restaurant for what seems like forever. For some reason, we haven’t heard about this place. I think that the local Mexican people liked it that way. It’s simple, clean, super friendly staff, amazing food, full bar, cold Coronas, awesome tacos and burritos and they make their own tortillas. It’s our new favorite place and we plan on coming back again & again.
MoreI always enjoy the food. Tostadas y tacos de carne. Also, they have Full meal/Completo: arroz/rice. Frijoles/refried beans. Chimichanga y tostada todo de carne (meat). Delicious. Salsa Verde/ hot green sauce. Pico de gallo. Ask for extra limon/lime
MoreNice place, ok food, slow service. Probably could use a new manager I'm guessing. Or Maybe they were doing a soft opening from after Covid.
MoreI pretty much got what I expected. I had the carne asada tacos. Friendly service. Food came fast. It was pretty quiet at 3PM on a Saturday but I liked that. Was kind of hoping for some chips and salsa or something while I waited but other than that. :)
MoreReally good food. Very ethentic taste.
Food Quality is alright. The tacos are miniatures. At $2 a unit they are overpriced.
MoreI don't know where this place has been all my life. Walking into the restaurant the Mexican feeling was everywhere from music to the art on the wall. The food is a great and at a great price I will be coming back every month
MoreReally great and reasonably priced Mexican joint. Being from the north it's always a treat to eat some genuine cuisine! Would definitely visit again in my next visit to Miami. Friendly staff as well.
MoreHad a very good experience in this spot with my kids. The food was served rapidly and the customer service is just good. Prices are reasonable.
MoreBeen coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years. Same owner, delicious home made Mexican food. Service is good, and the quality of the food and the prices are great.
MoreService was good. The fajitas were decent. The guac was good. But the other sauces and corn were store bought. The tacos were ok, but not awesome. Overall, we were underwhelmed.
MoreThe food was very good! I like the choices of eating inside or quickly ordering your tacos in the taqueria they have outside. A lot of customers ordering food tells you how popular and good the restaurant is.
MoreThis spot is my preferred one. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The team is very cordial and the food they cook is so good. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
MoreAuthentic, tasty, & friendly with live music. Felt like being in Mexico. We will definitely be returning soon!
MoreUnassuming place near Dixie Highway, but food is fantastic. Definitely order the carne a sad a nachos, one of the best I've ever had. Burritos and pupusas were large and filling. Tacos are solid.
MoreOn fridays and Saturdays they have a cart and cook outside, the carne asada is so delish, I wish they had lettuce and sour cream for the tacos they make outside, the Mexican street corn is really good as well. Try the mega burrito it's big enough for 2 people.
MoreThis place never seems to be too crowded during lunch, which means that you can sit where you like. The menu is pretty comprehensive, including Elote (Mexican street corn), which can be hard to find at most restaurants. If you don't speak Spanish you need to ask for English. The only minus seems to be that since they make everything fresh, the service feels slow. Don't be in a hurry when you come here. I had to subtract one star because a "cup"-size appetizer was actually served in an 8 ounce styrofoam cup.
MoreFantastic authentic Mexican dishes for what we really would call a steal - some of the best prices you'll find for the portions and quality. We did take out and we're still pleased with how the food kept once we got home. The tacos, for one, are superb - the chorizo tacos were worth it and we're the perfect serving. We also tried the chimichangas and flautas and they were delicious and not lacking in meat at all. Don't forget to try their spicy sauce as well. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice and spacious and accessible as well. We will definitely be back.
MoreGreat food. Service could be better.
Nice little restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine. They also serve pupusas which I was surprised to find and quite delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very courteous service. Will be back again to try more dishes.
MoreFreakin amazing owners actually cook wife and husband and are pros i had chicken and beef tacos and they were to die for. Very very good
MoreThis place is great. Especially Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights when they serve delicious fresh tacos outside the restaurant. The corn on the cob juicy and hot. The service from the cook's is friendly and inviting. They are open late night, so it's perfect for after the club or bar.
